Who’s writing?
I’m Kai and, like you, I’m trying to make sense of our increasingly noisy digital world.
For over a decade, I published Offscreen – an indie print magazine about our complex relationship with technology. I now send this weekly newsletter attempting to highlight paths toward a more considered existence online and in real life – one that resists the pull of attention merchants.
I’m drawn to ideas, tools and insights that encourage slower, more deliberate thinking – not just about how we use technology, but how we live, work and connect beyond the screen.
I occasionally post on Mastodon or Instagram, though you’re more likely to find me on the streets of Narrm/Melbourne, with my dog Maya.
